By engaging DRTC Packers and Movers for relocation, vehicle logistics, or warehousing, you agree to these standard operating terms. These guidelines ensure 100% transparency, safety, and compliance under the Indian Carriage by Road Act.
100% Price Lock Guarantee: The official written relocation estimate provided following pre-move video or in-person survey is final. No unapproved stair charges, hidden handling fees, or unannounced toll markups will be added.
Zero Advance Token Mandate: We do not require advance token deposits to reserve your relocation date. Payments are settled upon physical container loading verification and delivery handover.
Statutory GST Invoicing: Official GST tax invoices (18% / 5%) and formal Consignment Lorry Receipts (LR/GR) are issued for corporate claim reimbursements.
Our certified moving crew applies multi-layer engineered protection (multi-layer bubble wrap, heavy-duty corrugated board, stretch film, edge guards, and customized wooden crating for delicate glass/marble):
Client Pre-Move Checklist:
- Refrigerators: Must be defrosted and dried at least 24 hours prior to loading to prevent condensation damage.
- Electronics & IT: Laptops, external storage drives, and important files must be backed up before disconnection.
- Washing Machines: Transit drum locking bolts must be fitted or requested during our pre-packing survey.
Under statutory highway carriage regulations and transit insurance guidelines, the following articles must NOT be packed into moving containers and must remain in the client’s personal custody:
Cash, Gold, Diamond & Fine Jewelry
Property Deeds, Passports & Certificates
LPG Cylinders, Petrol, Kerosene & Thinners
Perishable Foods, Plants & Explosives
We mandate declared-value transit insurance for all inter-city and long-haul consignments, underwritten by licensed PSU general insurance partners:
Comprehensive Risk Coverage: Protects against road accidents, highway overturn, physical impact, fire, and vehicle collisions during transit.
48-Hour Notification Window: Any external package damage must be endorsed on the Consignment Delivery Copy at unloading and submitted with photographic proof within 48 hours.
Fast-Track Settlement Desk: Our dedicated claims coordination team facilitates surveyor inspections and document clearance within 7-14 business days.
For all automobiles transported via our covered hydraulic car carrier trucks or enclosed bike containers:
- Fuel levels must be kept minimal (under 5–10 liters) to mitigate fire hazards during highway haulage.
- A pre-loading vehicle condition sheet recording existing marks and odometer readings is signed jointly.
- Copies of the vehicle RC book, active insurance policy, and valid PUC certificate are required for RTO checkpoints.
We understand moving schedules can change. You can reschedule your move date with zero penalty fees provided advance notice is given at least 24 hours prior to crew dispatch.
Legal Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution: Any arbitration or legal proceedings arising under these terms shall be subject exclusively to the competent civil jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka, India.
